3-6 School scoop

Chapel:  This week’s chapel focused on “listening” as God speaks to us through His Word. Mrs. Begley and the 4th-grade class presented a skit telling a parable about a traveler who failed to listen and watch, which led him into trouble, but Jesus was there to rescue him and lead him back to the way to Heaven. Their skit was based on Psalm 62. We need to be silent so that we can listen to God and read His Word, allowing us to follow His direction for our lives. Because of Jesus’ love and grace, we are rescued from our sinful choices. God loves everyone and gave His only Son to save the world.  He will bring us and all believers to Himself in Heaven.

Verse to Remember: Psalm 62:5 “For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.”
