3-6 Grade Scoop

January 21, 2026

Chapel: The 4th – 8th grade chapel was lead by Mrs. McIntosh and the Pre-K – 3rd grade chapel was lead by Mrs. Heiss. The younger classes focused on John the Baptist’s words, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.” People had been waiting for the Savior for a long time, and now he was there with John! He was excited to share the news about who Jesus was with everyone around him and encouraged them to follow him. We have that great news to share too!

Verse to remember:  I waited patiently for the LORD; he inclined to me and heard my cry. (Psalm 40:1)

Parent and Teacher Conferences – Thank you for coming this last week to work together with the teachers we strive to help each child learn and grow!

4th and 6th field trip- On January 29, we MUST leave at 7:45 AM in order to be on time for the first tour. We apologize for the mistake on the permission slip that said 8:30 is leave time. We have almost 30 kids to take to Topeka; please consider driving or asking a relative to help us that day, and indicate so on the permission slip. This is a neat trip with lots of exciting Kansas birthday events happening that day, so come along and learn with us!

5th field trip– On January 30, the class will go to Biz Town. Preparations are happening in the classroom now.
