Book Reports – The class is doing a great job with their book reports. We are enjoying telling and hearing about the books that were read!

Journey to Bethlehem, Follow the Star – Reminders for our Christmas program tonight!
Students are to wear their Christmas best. The program starts at 6:30 pm, but all 3rd graders should meet in our classroom at 6:15.
The 8th grade will serve a dinner beginning at 5:00 p.m. A free-will offering will be accepted with all proceeds going toward the 2025 Washington, D.C. trip.

Christmas Party – Our party will be on tomorrow, Dec 20. We will be doing a class gift exchange. I am asking that each student bring in a pair of crazy, fun socks, wrapped as a gift. (They can be Christmas socks if you want, but they can be any fun socks to wear on Fridays!) We will be exchanging them in a fun activity at our party.

Parent/Teacher Conferences – Our conferences come up quickly when we come back in January! These conferences are mandatory. Report cards will be shared during conferences. You can sign up using the link below to get a head start on the new year. Conference Sign-up Link

I am including information for the week after Christmas break.

I encourage all of the kids to work on their multiplication facts over break. Do keep on reading. You can keep track of minutes read on their Book It! calendar or in the calendar section of the assignment book.

Memory for January 8 is the Lord’s Prayer.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those
who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom
and the power and the glory
forever and ever. Amen

I hope that you find joy in worshiping our Lord, wherever you are. There are many worship opportunities here at Hope over the holidays too. We would love for you to join us in worship of the Infant King!
