Summer REading

May 20, 2026

I am so thankful for the time we have had together this school year! I feel so very blessed to get to work with such great families and co-workers! I am very humbled by your generous words, thoughts, and gifts. I pray that you have a wonderful summer break.

Even though we are taking a break from classes, remember that God never “takes a break” from caring for you. Keep Him in your summer plans!

Summer Reading List 2026-2027
At Hope Lutheran School, we value reading, and reading every day during the summer is important. Students at each grade level (1st – 8th grade) are REQUIRED to read books by August 21, 2026.
Please help your child get started on the required Summer Reading assignment for 4th grade. The students will need to stay in the habit of reading, so it is best to establish a daily/weekly routine right away.

Here is a link to the Summer Reading List. Enjoy reading!
