Dear Parents,
The school weeks seem to be flying by quickly. All the kids have adapted well to our school schedule and expectations. I am happy to be back in the classroom with God’s awesome children. They are gifts.
Just a reminder to please look at your child’s assignment book. They are all doing well writing daily assignments, but also are reminders to when they will have a test in the different subjects.
Upcoming assessments:
Friday- chapter 1 math assessment (Sept. 5)
Friday- chapter 1 social studies test (This will be an open book since it is a brand new curriculum for them.)
Tuesday- science assessment over chapter 1 (the vocabulary words and study guide from their book will be coming home on Friday, September 5.)
Thursday- spelling test and vocabulary quiz
Just to note, I will not be here September 8-11. The students will have a former teacher from Hope substitute teaching during those days.
