Third-sixth grade scoop

Chapel: In chapel on Wednesday, Miss Mondary presented the message.  We focused on the cross of Jesus and what it means to us as Christians.  

Verse to Remember: Matthew 16:24  Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” 

Chapel Offering Collection – Serve the Lord with your gifts! Please remind your child to bring an offering to support LUMA. (Lutheran Urban Ministries Agency)

Eligibility started on September 9th. Each Tuesday, parents will receive an email if their child has an average of 75% or less in any class.  

Coming Up:

Sept. 17  Mid-term

Sept. 18-19 – Parent/Teacher Conferences- Please make every effort to be on time.  Many conferences are scheduled back to back. Thank you. 

Sept. 25 School photos and Sports photos- Students may dress “up” for their school picture OR wear a dress top/shirt with their uniform bottom.  If they dress up they will need to bring a school uniform to change into after their picture is taken.  Thank you.
