Classroom Newsletter – March 28th

March 27, 2024

I pray everyone has a restful four-day weekend. Remember the reason for the season! Even though it is a mournful Good Friday, we know we can rejoice in gladness on Sunday when He is risen!

No Spelling
We will not have spelling this week, April 2nd – 5th.

Track
Track is the first time 4th graders are able to participate in athletics here at Hope. Students need to keep above 75% in each class in order to be eligible to participate in track meets. The first track meet is in the middle of April.

Read-A-Thon!
Hope Lutheran School has decided to hold a Read-A-Thon this year! Read-A-Thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.

Our Read-A-Thon starts Monday April 8, 2024. In Thursday folders today, we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader’s personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.

We encourage you to activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/313137323738/1 and following the simple instructions. We’ve chosen Read-A-Thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills. We hope EVERYONE participates.
