This is such a busy time of the year! Thank you for taking the time to read our weekly newsletter! Here’s a glance at the week, upcoming events, and important information:
Field Trips
Please make sure your student is returning their field trip permission forms to me. Our TimberRidge permission slips are due by next Friday (Sep 5th)!
We need at least 1 more driver for Timber Ridge and at least 2 for Lutheran High. Driving for field trips does count towards the service hours! Here are the dates for our field trips:
- TimberRidge Adventure Center: September 23rd
- Lutheran High School: October 23rd
Student Council
If your student is interested in joining the Student Council, they will receive a permission slip to take home. Please make sure to sign and send back if you would like your child to participate. All members of the Student Council must maintain acceptable conduct and a grade average in order to run and hold office. Members must have an ongoing 88% academic average in each class per quarter. If there are any questions, please let me know.
7th grade may run for:
- President, Vice-President, Secretary, or as a Class Representative
- Campaigning will be Sep 8th-11th
- Speeches will be on Thursday, September 11th, at 2:00 during the Pep Rally, followed by the voting process
Fall Carnival
Our room moms will be sending out information about the fall carnival on September 6th.
