Timber Ridge
Our field trip to Timber Ridge is now on Friday, September 26th. We are going to be leaving as close to 8:30 as possible, if not before. All students must wear their P.E. uniform, running/tennis shoes, bring their own lunch and water bottle, and a light jacket is recommended. We will be back to school about 2:30. Thank you for being flexible with moving the trip so last minute.
Fall Break
Hope will not have school Monday, September 29th – Friday, October 3rd. The building will be full of pastors and teachers from across Kansas, as we host the Kansas District Pastors’ and Educators’ conferences. The teachers will also be headed to St. Louis for the Lutheran Educator Conference. Enjoy your week off!
Choir
Students in 6th-8th grade will sing in church on October 12th at 10:30. All students should participate, as participation is also a grade for Choir. If you are not able to attend, please email your homeroom teacher and Mrs. Schkade.
Trunk or Treat
Our trunk or treat will be on Friday, October 24th from 5:30 PM- 7:00 PM.
PAHS AUCTION
Our Annual Hope Lutheran PAHS auction is on November 8th. Money raised in our auction goes toward Art, Music, Spanish, and technology. If you can donate something to the auction this year, bring it by and drop it off in the school office. Please note items must be new. Help us make this year’s auction a huge success! WE NEED DONATIONS! If you have any questions about a donation, please contact KATIE BURNS at auction@hopelutheran.org. Information about the auction is going home in Thursday’s folder.
Chapel Offering
Our 1st Quarter chapel offerings will be going to the Lutheran Urban Mission Agency (LUMA). LUMA walks with local churches and communities, empowering and equipping them to meet spiritual, social, and physical needs.
