As a reminder, please make sure your student is here on time each day to make sure they are ready to begin the day. Eligibility will begin in the first week of November as we enter the winter sports season.
Operation Christmas Child
Our school has several boxes outside the school office that we hope to fill and send out by November 12th. We are encouraging each student to take home a box to help those in need this holiday season. In addition, our classrooms will also be making a box together. The 7th graders will be collecting items for a boy, and the 8th graders will be collecting boxes for a girl. Please check with your classroom teacher to find information on the Signup Genius for these items. Thank you for helping us share Christ’s love this holiday season!
Lutheran High Open House

Friday, October 31st
Students can wear fall colors or October t-shirts with uniform bottoms on Friday, October 31st, to celebrate Reformation Day. No Halloween t-shirts!
Veterans’ Day
We are honoring veterans with a Veterans’ Day breakfast on November 11th. Our choirs will be singing a song during the event. If you or any family members have served, we would love to invite you to join us!
Weather and Recess
As we enter into cooler weather, we wanted to remind you of the policies in place. Students need to wear a sweatshirt or jacket outside when the weather is between 40-50 degrees. They will need a winter coat on days that are 39 degrees or below. Students who do not have a jacket or coat will be asked to sit outside of the school office while the class is at recess.
Dessert Dash
If you need volunteer hours, a great way to do that is to participate in our dessert dash! We will be auctioning deserts during the auction. The desserts do not need to be homemade. PAHS AUCTION
Our Annual Hope Lutheran PAHS auction is on November 8th. Money raised in our auction goes toward Art, Music, Spanish, and technology. If you can donate something to the auction this year, bring it by and drop it off in the school office. Please note items must be new. Help us make this year’s auction a huge success! Stony Point
Each year, the 8th graders are paired up with a child from Stony Point Elementary. This year, we are able to go to their school on Friday, November 21st, for a “Friendsgiving”. This will be an opportunity for Hope students to meet Stony Point students, get to know each other, before the 7th and 8th graders shop for Christmas presents for them. Please fill out and return permission slips promptly.
