This week we have begun our next chapter. We will be studying the three types of rock and the rock cycle. The rock cycle shows us how rocks can change into different types of rocks through natural processes like erosion, weathering, compaction, & cementation. It also shows how rocks can change due to extreme temperature and pressure under the surface of Earth. This chapter has four lessons so this will be a longer chapter than the previous chapter.
