This week we will begin studying the different types of rocks. We will begin with igneous rocks which usually are found near current or former volcanoes. Next week we will look at sedimentary rocks which form from weathering and erosion, and finally metamorphic rocks which change from different types of rock through intense heat and pressure into metamorphic rocks. At this time, I would guess our Chapter 4 test would be either Oct 29 or Oct 31.
Earth Science
