We have begun our study of animal behavior. We are discussing learned behavior and instinctive behaviors. Along with these behaviors, we will be watching the movie Fly Away Home. This is about the learned familial behavior where birds will imprint on their “mother” and follow their mother and learn behaviors from them. This is based on a true story where the human family taught a family of geese to migrate south from Canada.
Life Science
We have been reviewing the chapters that we studied this semester. The students will take their final exam Thursday, May 15 and then we will be done with Life Science. Thank you for a great year!
