Cranium, scapulas, patellas, phalanges, patellas, phalanges. . . Who recognizes this song? These are the scientific names for the head, shoulders, knees, and toes. We have begun chapter 14 and we are studying the skeletal system, muscular system and the skin. During this chapter we will learn several of the names for the bones and muscles. Students have a coloring sheet with all of the bones and muscles that they will need to know for the test. Students should spend just a few minutes each day reviewing these so they know them for the test. This will be difficult to learn them all the night before.
