4-6 Weekly School Scoop

August 28, 2024

08/28/24

This week’s all-school chapel was led by Pastor Mueller. He read from 1 Peter 1 and John 20. He showed a picture of the Hope diamond. That diamond is special and we want to protect it since it’s so valuable. Our HOPE in Christ is our trust in Him. We should protect our faith and take advantage of the opportunities God gives us for our faith to grow. Our valuable faith is what gives us the HOPE/assurance of heaven!

Chapel offerings will be collected at the beginning of each chapel service. This quarter, offerings go to LUMA (Lutheran Urban Mission Agency).

Thanks to all who came to Hope on Saturday to support our 5/6 volleyball girls. Their skills improved every game, and they had a fantastic win at the last game of the day!

It was great to see so many parents at our Back to School Nights. Please feel free to contact your child’s teacher if you have further questions.

We will start MAP testing this week. Please encourage your children to get good sleep and hydration. Also, breakfast is brain and body food, so help your child have healthy protein and carbohydrates each morning.

Parent teacher conferences will be September 19-20. Look for a Sign-Up Genius next week.
