Our school is collecting food pantry items for the Shawnee community. Sixth graders will be rewarded with classroom tickets for every three items they bring in. Classrooms are competing with each other to see which grade can build the biggest tower of food. Bring items between Friday, October 11 and Friday, October 18. Let’s build a humongous tower and feed lots of people!
During our 2.5 days of school next week, we’ll be doing some special activities such as holding a 6th grade spelling bee, preparing a slide presentation for our Veterans Day program, and working on a project for our Egypt study. It’ll be a fun and productive short week!
