4th-6th Grade Scoop, March 13

March 12, 2025

Chapel: Students from Lutheran High School led our K-8 chapel today. Their theme was forgiveness and prayer. We learned that it may be hard to forgive, but we should follow Christ’s example and his teaching that we should forgive our repentant brothers as we would want them to do for us.

Afterwards, we were treated to a presentation from Mr. Reith, a missionary who will be serving in the Dominican Republic as a technology administrator. He will help students with their technology needs at the seminary there and will also work on translating Bible resources into Spanish.

Book Fair: The last chance to buy books at our fair is during the Grandparents Day celebration on Friday. Buy some books for reading over spring break!

MOVING OUT: Following Grandparents Day, we will be moving things out of or within the classrooms to get ready for new carpet! Please come by the classrooms to help move furniture and boxes. We start moving things at 12pm! Many hands make light work… thanks!

Mite Boxes Please save your loose change and help to fill your child’s mite box, which will be given as a special offering on Wednesday, March 26th. Please allow your child to participate in this mission project. Thank you!

Verse to Remember: You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but tyou shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord. Leviticus 19:18
