4-6 Scoop 4/10/25

April 9, 2025

Chapel: Mrs. Jankowski read the Palm Sunday account from Matthew 21 and then chose several volunteers to act it out. We even had a donkey! The people shouted “Hosanna,” which means “Save us!” Our Savior certainly does save us by His death and resurrection.

Verse to Remember: And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, x“Hosanna to ythe Son of David! zBlessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna ain the highest!”

Serve-a-thon: Donations are coming in, but we are far from our goal. Please continue to pray for our fund drive and encourage family and friends to help us provide new technology for Hope!

Spring jackets: Due to Kansas’s frequently rising and falling spring temperatures, please remind your child to have a jacket for recess each day. Then they will always be prepared for whatever the wind blows in!

Talent Show: Parents, please encourage your child to share his or her talents with us on April 25. Talents can include magic tricks, athletic skills (shooting basketball, gymnastics…), singing, dancing, playing an instrument, telling jokes, dramatic reading of a poem or story, puppet shows, skits, and so much more! Parent forms were sent home last week and need to be returned by April 17 for teachers to approve.
