*Thank you, parents, for returning the permission slips and waiver forms for our Timber Ridge field trip. If you haven’t yet, please fill those out this weekend and return them on Tuesday. We don’t have enough drivers yet, so please consider driving or asking a relative or neighbor to help us with that. Driver information is needed as soon as possible so we can run background checks and get license and insurance information.

*I’ve seen some sluggish bodies and slow brains this week as some kids are coming to class very tired. Please help your child get on a good sleep schedule, even on this long weekend.

*Most of the 6th graders are handling this year’s work load well, but there are a handful who are already struggling with completing and turning in homework on time. Most sixth graders at this point in the year still need their parents to check their assignment notebooks and homework folders to ensure everything is getting done. Eligibility begins next week, so getting full credit on completed work is very important.

*Prayer is powerful! Please pray for the sixth graders and all their teachers. I pray for them and you, their parents, too.
