*All 6th graders need to bring a blown-out, cleaned out, dry egg by Monday. This will be used in science class.

*Timber Ridge– September 23: Parent chaperones should dress comfortably, bring a water bottle and lunch, sunscreen and bug spray, and bring a lawn chair, if desired. We will visit several “stations” at the site, and not all of them have built-in seating. Kids should wear PE uniforms and outside shoes, bring water bottle, lunch, sunscreen, and bug spray (as desired). Students may wear sunglasses and a hat since we’ll be outside all day.

*The 6th-8th graders will sing in church on October 12 at 10:30. It is important that all choir members participate, if possible. Please make a big note on your calendar and make plans for your child(ren) to be at Hope then.

*It was wonderful to see my students so focused and determined during the math test yesterday. I hope they can put in the same level of effort on today’s grammar test. You should see the results of those tests in next week’s Thursday envelope (unless they have corrections – those will be due Friday, Sept. 26).

Sports and school photos- Fall athletes must have their uniforms on Thursday, Sept. 25. Students may choose to wear their own tops for school pictures that day, but they should wear uniform bottoms. Girls who wear dresses for the photo should bring a school uniform to change into.
