Reminder from our room parents: The theme for the 6th Grade auction basket this year is: Sweet Treats.

Each family in the class is asked to donate something toward the basket:

  • Any type of sweet treat you would like to donate can be sent with your student and collected by Mrs. Schkade or turned in during morning drop-off or afternoon pick-up.
  • You can also donate money to be used to purchase basket items via Venmo: @Sara-Thrasher-3 or send money to school with your student in an envelope.
  • Please label any donations brought to school as going to the 6th Grade Auction Basket.
  • Please have your donations turned in by Monday, October 13.

The basket will be auctioned off at the annual PAHS auction on Saturday, November 8, with the proceeds going towards funding Art, Music, Spanish and technology for our Hope students.

Thank you so much for your time and generosity!

Jacket Reminder: Hope’s recess policy states that students need to have a jacket or second hoodie (if they regularly wear one inside) for outside recess when the temperature is below 50 degrees. This is the time of year when the temperature fluctuates quite a bit between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Please remind your children to bring a jacket/hoodie so they are prepared, no matter what the weather is doing.

Singing in church: 6th-8th grade students should meet in the Luther Room by 10:15 on Sunday morning to warm up. They will be singing in the balcony at the10:30 service and will come down to their families after the choir piece is finished.
