January 7, 2026

This Thursday, January 8th, is our school Christmas program for the 3rd through 8th-grade students. All students should arrive at the classroom by 5:45 pm, wearing white tops and black bottoms. Boys must wear a white collared shirt. The 8th-grade D.C. dinner fundraiser at Panda Express across the street will be available from 4:00-9:00, so feel free to pick up dinner before or after the program!

The class parties will be on Friday, January 9th, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm.  Each student should bring in 2 wrapped, unlabeled candy bars to exchange. Parents, please join us for the fun!

Mandatory parent-teacher conferences will be Thursday, January 15th and Friday, January 16th. This conference is for parents and teachers only, not the sixth grade students.  If you have not signed up yet, please review the link attached to see what works best for you. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0E4BA4AA2AABF5C61-61110926-winter

Book Report news: Each student has been assigned to read Where the Red Fern Grows and respond to journal prompts about each chapter. They should have all the needed information in their binders. There will be several grades taken on this project, which will be completed in late April.

If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. We’re off to a good start in second semester!
