The end of first quarter is here! That means the students will get a fresh start with grades on Monday. That is good news!

The sixth graders have worked hard and are tired! Please commend them for their good work and encourage them to get lots of rest this weekend. Our health teacher, Mrs. Carnell, reminded them that kids their age should get 10-12 hours of sleep per night. A lot of the sixth graders realized they fall quite short of this goal. Especially with flu and cold season around the corner, make sure your child is getting enough sleep.

Over the weekend, please check your child’s binder to be sure the papers are filed in the correct places. Organization is so important this year and in future years of school and work. Help them establish good habits now by holding them accountable.
