3-6 Scoop, March 26

March 25, 2026

Chapel- Miss Mondary led chapel with readings from Psalm 142 and John 9. Both David and the man born blind were imprisoned in their sin, and our merciful God forgave them and gave peace and comfort in just the ways they needed it. We can rely on Jesus for our peace, comfort, and forgiveness as well!

Verse to Remember: Jesus said, “As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work.  While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” John 9:4-5

Report Cards- These will be in this week’s Thursday envelope. Please sign and return the envelope but keep the report.

Jog-a-thon- The focus of our Jog-a-thon fundraiser this year is to support the Student Wellness Campaign. This means our school nurtures students’ physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Through this initiative, we provide programs, resources, and activities that help students thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Fundraising will begin on Monday, March 30, and the Jog-a-thon event will be April 7 at Listowel Park. Permission slips will be sent home soon. We will need parents to walk with us to and from the park and help with this event while the kids are jogging.

A sack lunch of hot dog, chips, and a fruit or vegetable will be provided at no cost. Students may choose to bring their own lunch if they wish. Lunch is also available for volunteers.

Celebrate America – Students in grades 3-8 are researching topics related to America’s history. Each class has certain expectations and projects they are required to complete. Teachers will reach out to parents with needed information.
