League & Event Fees

Hope’s Booster Club pays the entrance fees for our students to participate in:

  • Kansas City Lutheran Athletic League (KCLAL)
    • Basketball
    • Cheerleading
    • Cross Country
    • Soccer
    • Track
    • Volleyball
  • Non-KCLAL tournaments
    • Alma
    • Cedar Rapids
    • Lutheran High
    • Topeka


The Booster Club provides equipment and supplies for more that just athletics:

  • Physical Education
  • Recess
  • Athletics

Every two years the Booster Club pays to refinish the floor to the Family Life Center (FLC) over winter break.

volunteer opportunities 

  • The Booster Club runs the concession stand at home games, preparing food, snacks, and drinks.
  • During home games/matches, the Booster Club runs the clock, scoreboard, statistics book log, audio, gate admissions, and sweeps the floor.
  • During the Spring Track Meet, the Booster Club runs the gate admissions, leads all events, and uses the PA system for event announcements and results.

  • The Booster Club helps organize the Fall and Spring sports banquets and helps pay for coaching gifts.

Home & Away Jerseys

The booster club pays for uniforms for each of our athletics teams, we use a 5 year cycle for replacing our aging uniforms.

  • Volleyball (2022-2023)
  • Basketball (2023-2024); replaced fall of 2019
  • Cheerleading (2025-2026); replaced fall of 2019
  • Soccer (2026-2027); replaced spring of 2021
  • Track (2027-2028); replaced spring of 2021

The booster club meets once a month to discuss athletics at Hope.  All parents are encouraged to attend to provide input into the decision making process for athletics and other extracurricular activities at Hope.
