Week at a Glance
In Math, we are finishing our short unit on telling time. In Social Studies, we are putting together the final details of our International Fair Projects. All of these will be done at school, so you don’t have to worry about anything at home. The International Fair is on Thursday, May 1st and we are looking forward to sharing what we have learned with you! Students will have their outfits at school, but they just need to wear a plain t-shirt with uniform pats (preferably khaki). In Reading, we are making our way to the end of Charlotte’s Web and talking about how the characters have developed throughout the book. In Religion, we are talking about Jesus’s Ascension.
First and second graders will be singing at Hope’s 10:30am service this Sunday, April 27th. Please bring them to the Luther Room by 10:15 to warm up. Kids will sit with their parents during the service and will stand on the steps in front to sing. This is a part of their choir grade, but if they cannot attend, please email Mrs. Schkade at schkade@hopelutheran.org

Points will reset and students will have opportunities to add points to their team scores outside of their reading logs for one more tally at the end of the year!
