Week at a Glance
This upcoming week in Math we are starting a unit on subtraction. In Science, we working through our unit in matter and investigating why so many toys are made of plastic. In Social Studies, we are starting a unit on the government. In Reading, we are working on book studies in our small groups. In Religion, we are talking about Moses and the Ten Commandments, which fits hand in hand with our memory these last few weeks. In addition, we have been talking about how to fill each other’s buckets with the words and actions we use. Ask your child how their bucket was filled today or how they helped fill someone else’s bucket!

Field Trip!
All students will need a booster seat for the Field Trip tomorrow so please send them to school with one! We will be eating lunch back at school, so you don’t need to worry about changing up your routine.

Other Notes
- Make sure to practice spelling and memory throughout the week. We spend a lot of time reviewing in class, but every minute at home counts too!
- Keep filling out those reading logs and add up the minutes. Anything read on EPIC can count toward those reading logs.
- I have added a field trip to the Weston Red Barn Farm on November 1st, so mark your calendars!
