Week at a Glance
We have started our unit on subtraction. It would be a good idea to do some subtraction practice at home on 99math to help our fluency grow stronger. In Science, we are studying how matter changes. In Social Studies, we are talking about all the responsibilities the government has. In Reading, we are identifying the main idea and key details of our theme story about a prairie. In Religion, we are working on a Ten Commandments project.

Field Trip!
Please be on the lookout for the permission slip coming home in today’s Thursday Folder. We are headed to the Weston Red Barn Farm on November 1st for a fun-filled fall day! These permission slips MUST be signed and returned no later than Thursday, October 10th so we can account for all drivers.
Other Notes
- Make sure to practice spelling and memory throughout the week. We spend a lot of time reviewing in class, but every minute at home counts too!
- Keep filling out those reading logs and add up the minutes. Anything read on EPIC can count toward those reading logs.
