I pray that all of you have a restful and relaxing break, celebrating the birth of our Savior!
Our Reading Logs over Christmas Break will be similar to the Thanksgiving Break Reading Logs. On Monday, they came home with a gingerbread sheet colored blue. For each book that is read, color in a gingerbread man. Some students are reading longer chapter books, so if they read a chapter or two you can count that for a gingerbread man as well. The student who has the most gingerbreads colored will have the chance to earn a prize when we come back from break!
Below is the information you will need to know when we return to school on January 6th.
Week at a Glance 1/6-1/10

In Social Studies, we are starting a unit on Buying and Selling. In Reading, we are writing “would you rather” stories about winter to practice our comparison skills. In Religion, we are talking about Epiphany and the wise men.
