Chapel: Pastor Ada from Beautiful Savior shared readings from Matthew 5 and Psalm 149. He presented a lesson based on the passage from Matthew 5. He described the lives of 2 different kids. One was from a wealthy family that could buy anything they wanted. The other was from a poor family that had to do without many things. He then asked the students, “Which one was blessed?”  The answer: both were blessed, loved, and saved through the cross of Jesus.  We all have so much to be thankful for. This is certainly a lesson that brings us JOY!

Verse to Remember: Psalm 149:1
Praise the Lord. Sing to the Lord a new song,
his praise in the assembly of his faithful people.

Jackets/coats:  Cooler temperatures are returning.  Please remind your child to bring a jacket or coat.  When temperatures are below 50, a jacket is required in order to participate in outdoor recess. Thank you.

Operation Christmas Child:  Fill a box (or two or five) with your child. We are planning to bring them all to chapel on Wednesday, November 12.  Thank you.
