fifth grade newsletter April 9, 2026

Dear Parents,

The KAP state testing will be completed this morning.  If your child has missed any of the testing times, they will have a make up date during school time in order to complete the required testing.

I am happy to report that 12 of our 15 fifth graders have completed their research paper for our April 30 Celebration of America Event.

We are busy at work rehearsing for our Wax Museum “come to life” presentations.  Each student will also be sharing one “funny fact” about their President or First Lady. Don’t forget to be thinking about what your child can wear to dress up as their person.

I do believe that Spring has finally arrived which means we will be spending some plant life time in our butterfly gardens.  We will be stenciling pavers that will be put into a finished terraced area as well as weeding and planting seeds.  Once finished, we hope to share our work.
