fifth grade newsletter april 23, 2026

Dear Parents,

Here I am again sending you a weekly newsletter.  The final weeks are flying by.  Midterm progress reports were sent out today.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

This Sunday, April 26 grades 3-5 choir will be performing in our 10:30 church service.  Please have your child go to the Luther Room by 10:15.  I would appreciate it if you would make every effort to have your child attend.  The choir practices together two days a week to provide something special for the church members to hear.  Thank you.

Next week is our 250th Celebrating America All School program.  This is a mandatory program for all Hope students to attend.  The kids have worked very hard at preparing for this.  They need to be in costume and in our classroom by 5:10.  They are very excited about presenting their President/First Lady Wax Museum style which will take place in our classroom following the Family Life Center all school parade and presentations.  This project weighs heavily on their Social Studies grade for this quarter.  I’m proud of all the effort they have put into their research paper and into their oral presentations.

Our schedule for next week:

Thursday-spelling test

Friday- math test over chapter 12

Blessings on your weekend.

See you Sunday!

In Jesus,
