The upcoming week is Fall break for the students. Prayers for safety as some families may be traveling over the break. This is a week for teachers to dedicate themselves to teacher conferences. LEA is Lutheran Educator’s Convocation. Teachers will be traveling to St. Louis. Prayers for safety are appreciated.
I have posted our new spelling and vocabulary list. This is the list for the Thursday, October 9, spelling and vocabulary test. Since we are nearing the end of our Island of the Blue Dolphins book, we will be adding some additional words to our lists in the next few weeks.
Our schedule for the week of October 6
Tuesday- Science test over chapter 2
Language test over Unit 1 (identifying verbs/helping verbs, state
of Being verbs, present/past participle)
Thursday- Spelling test
Vocabulary quiz
