Dear Parents,
This year our class would like to show the love of Christ through the outpouring of food, household goods, clothing, and a few gift cards to a family less fortunate than us during the Christmas season. This fits right into our most recent novel we are reading; The Angel Tree. The novel is about a community and some children who successfully help others in their community who are in need especially during the Christmas season. The kids are very excited about this project. Listed below are the food items and household items that would help this family. With your generosity, it is my hope that our fifth grade class can bring hope, peace, and Jesus to a family this Christmas season.
Items requested:
Grayson- (boy) size 4T (plain colored sweats outfit), shoe size 9C, whatever sock size would fit the shoe size, winter coat, hat, mittens
Mykol- (boy) size 6/7 (plain colored sweats outfit, jeans, long sleeved shirts, shoe size 12C and whatever socks fit the shoe size
(Mykol is mild autistic and loves football.) (foam)
Mom and Dad did not request anything for themselves. I would suggest if anyone would like to send in gift cards, please have it be to Walmart, Target, Price Chopper, and Aldi’s as their locations are close to the area where this family resides.
Food items:
Fifth Grade boys:
1 can green beans / 1 can chicken noodle/tomato soup
Fifth Grade girls: 1 box mac/cheese/ 1 can mandarin oranges
Class: ALL clean/clear detergent, or toilet paper (2 ply),
ALL STUDENTS ARE SINGING ON SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7TH. Here is the Sunday Worship schedule:

Hope Lutheran Church is a great support to our school, and this Sunday, we give thanks for that support. We would like to see as many students attend church as possible.
