Dear Parents,
Thank you for your help in supporting our class Christmas family. We have the food items that were requested. We are still in need of any clothes items for the two boys, laundry detergent and toilet paper that were listed on my last week’s newsletter and also in the note that I sent home. Any gift cards would be appreciated. I have purchased a ham and other food items so that the family has a nice Christmas dinner. I will be delivering to our Christmas family on Friday, December 19.
This week we will be writing messages in a Christmas card for our active military. Sharing Jesus with our servicemen and women is a wonderful blessing. These cards will be going overseas.
For our Christmas program on December 18 students are to be in our classroom by 5:45. The program will begin promptly at 6:00 pm. Black bottoms/skirts and a white shirt/blouse are requested. Thank you.
For our Ford Dealership Christmas caroling, students are encouraged to wear a Santa or Christmas hat. All permission slips have been handed in. Thank you.
This is Friday, December 12.
For our class Christmas gift exchange, we will be doing a “Crazy Sock” exchange. Please have your child bring in a new pair of crazy socks for this. We often have a crazy sock day throughout the school year. Make sure that the “crazy socks” could be for both a boy or girl. Thank you.
Our all school sing-a-long will be Friday, December 19 starting at 9:00. All parents are welcome to attend. Our class will take a short recess break and our class Christmas party will begin at 10:15. Again, parents are welcome to attend.
Please reach out to our room parent, Laura Solt, for any food items you can bring. We usually have one craft/or game activity as well before our gift exchange. (laurasolt84@gmail.com)
Suggested snacks for our Christmas party:
Cheese cubes/sausage/crackers/grapes/cookie or cupcake/1 more sugar treat 🙂
Glory to our Newborn King!
