I am happy and proud to introduce kindergarten’s new classroom helper, Mrs. Orr.

Brenda Orr is originally from Pennsylvania, but moved to Kansas in 2017. She recently retired from a long career in healthcare and has been married for 46 years to her husband Mike. She has two grown children, 1 daughter and 1 son and also has 4 grandchildren -1 grandson (age 18) and three granddaughters (age 16, 10, and 7). Her two youngest granddaughters currently attend Hope Lutheran school. She has a Master’s degree, but not in education. She has had many years of experience in working with children in the church setting. Now that she is retired, she is passionate about and feels called to work with children in a more formal setting. Mrs. Orr is excited about this opportunity to work with the kindergarten class at Hope Lutheran school this year.
