We are just about finished with science this year. The 8th graders took their final on Wednesday and the 7th graders will take their final next Wednesday, May 15. Science Fair projects have been graded and their write-ups will be going home in the Thursday folder. I wrote quite a bit on each paper. I have gone over this with the students and these comments are meant to help them learn from the process. Written comments do NOT mean that points were taken off. Generally, if they included all necessary requirements of the project, they did very well with their actual grade. However, everyone can improve on the process, so the comments are meant to give them advice on thinking like a scientist.
