Chapel: Miss Norem began our chapel service today by having the students listen to and identify various warning sounds such as a smoke detector, fire alarm, tornado siren, fire truck, and alarm clock that are all designed to help us. God gives us signs and warnings too through HIs Word.  Jesus gave us two Commandments: love God and love one another.  He reminds us to fill our lives with the Fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and  self-control.  A life filled with these fruits will always heed God’s warnings and lead to a godly life filled with blessings.  We will be tempted to turn away from God, but He promises to be faithful to us and will always help us to endure temptation when we call on Him.

Verse to Remember:  “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man.  God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” – 1 Corinthians 10:13
