Chapel: This week, we met with our new Chapel Families for the first time. We celebrated August birthdays and baptism birthdays. Pastor Mueller presented a lesson about having a childlike faith. As a baby, we were completely and utterly dependent upon our mother to feed us. Babies need someone else to feed them, to give them food so their tummies can become full and satisfied, and their bodies can grow. We cannot grow spiritually or faithfully without help; we are like babies crying out and asking God for help. The milk we need to grow in faith comes from the Word of God. God’s love and care for us certainly bring us JOY!
Verse to Remember: John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (ESV)
All Pro Dads: Friday, September 5th.
All Pro Dad mornings will be once a month. The dads come in, have breakfast with the students, and have a Bible/parenting topic. It starts at 7:30 a.m., and the students will be dismissed at 8:10 a.m. to return to their classroom. They will meet in Concord Hall.
MAP Testing: These standardized tests help us understand your child’s skill levels at the beginning of the year. Please help your child get good sleep and eat breakfast (brain food!) during these next two weeks.

Chapel Offering Collection – LUMA (Lutheran Urban Mission Agency)
An offering is a gift of money given to the church as an act of worship or devotion. It is an essential expression of faith, alongside confessing the creed, singing hymns, and offering prayers. Unlike tithes designated for specific purposes, offerings are typically given for general purposes.
Eligibility starts September 2. Parents will receive an email if your child has an average of 75% or less in any class.
