3rd – 6th Grade Scoop

September 24, 2025

Chapel: We started our all-school chapel with Pastor Mueller blessing all the students and staff who have September Baptism birthdays.  We also sang Happy Birthday to all those born in September.  Pastor Mueller invited students to help him act out the story of the rich man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31).  Lazarus loved God, but died at the gate of the rich man’s home, hungry and poor.  The angels carried Lazarus to Heaven where he met Abraham, another faithful believer.  The rich man appeared to have so many blessings and to be favored by God, but he died a greedy unbeliever.  He was separated from God for eternity.  Pastor Mueller reminded us that the difficult circumstances in each of our lives do not measure God’s love for us.  God loves everyone and gave His only Son to save the world.  He will bring us and all believers to Himself in Heaven.

Verse to Remember: Romans 5:8 “- but God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
