Newsletter For January 20th – 23rd

January 14, 2026

We were so happy to share our Christmas message “Still, Still,Still,” with so many of you this past Thursday! We are so grateful that our classmates were healthy and back with us to share their Christmas joy that evening! Thank you, parents, for helping your child to purchase the special book for our classrom gift exchange. The students were so happy to give and receive these special gifts from their classmates! The students did a great job of keeping their identities a secret- until they tried to guess before opening them. Thank you to Mrs. Clancy and Mrs. Patch for organizing and running our classroom Christmas party! We are excited for the New Year and for all of the exciting events the second half of the school year will bring! We are especially looking forward to our upcoming Topeka Field Trip, which is on Thursday, January 29th. We will be leaving at 7:45 AM to be there in Topeka for our tour – the Capitol Dome at 9:15 AM. We still need seats to transport 6 fourth graders, so please consider coming along to drive and chaperone. We are also looking forward to touring the Capitol building during our state’s birthday party! Kansas was admitted to the Union as the 34th state on January 29, 1861.
