We really enjoyed having our parents, grandparents, and friends attend our “Celebrate America – 250 Years” History Fair Event this past Thursday night! Today, May 7th, we will be attending the Day at the K! God has provided us with a great weather day, and we are so excited to enjoy it! Students will be back for pick-up between 3:30 and 4:00 pm. We have completed the MAP testing, but please remind your student that we have work to complete so that we can finish strong! We enjoyed our first VIP Visit from Mrs. Clancy, Johann’s mom this past Monday. Tomorrow we will be visiting with Hyunjung’s American mom. Next Friday we plan to visit with Lucy’s mom. Thank you, parents, for signing up to meet with us in our classroom and share stories about your student and family! This Friday we will also enjoy a picnic with Mrs. Jankowski as part of this year’s auction purchases! We are also excited to see the Talent Show this Friday at 2:00 pm. Please put the Fine Arts Night on your calendar for Thursday, May 14th beginning at 5:30 pm. We will be showcasing our talented choirs, band students, and directors as well as amazing art pieces by individual and groups of our gifted students and teacher! Be sure to view and bid on the class projects that are being displayed in the school entryway!
