At Hope Lutheran School, faith isn’t just something we talk about—it shows up in everything, even our technology projects!

Recently, our first graders used Google Slides (similar to PowerPoint) to illustrate The Lord’s Prayer. Each student searched for an image to match each petition of the Lord’s Prayer. Then, they presented their slideshows, explaining why they chose each image. When one student reached “But deliver us from evil,” he hesitantly presented a lightning bolt.

His reasoning? “I was really looking for a picture of the devil getting electrocuted, but I couldn’t find one, so I just picked this lightning.”

It’s exciting when faith takes a creative turn. At Hope Lutheran School, we love seeing our students embrace God’s truth with curiosity, confidence, and sometimes just the right touch of humor.
