In the classroom: In Religion we are learning about the 12 disciples. In Reading the students continue to work on the mechanics of writing and using illustrations to match their stories. In Math the students are learning about subtraction. In Science we will start learning about our bodies and how they work.

Open House: There are three dates for open house, January 25th-6 to 8, February 7th-6 to 8 and on February 13th students can come and meet their teacher for next year.

ASH WEDNESDAY CHAPEL 
As part of this service on Wednesday, February 14th, the children may participate in the imposition of ashes.  If you do not want your child to participate, please let his/her teacher know.  The children do not have to participate if they do not wish to.  If you have any questions, please get in touch with the school office. Chapel service will be held in the sanctuary. Parents are welcome to attend.

Hope Family Night: Tuesday January 30th from 5:30-7:00 there will be pizza dinner for $7.00 per person ( 2 slices of pizza, drink and salad) and lots of fun games to play. Don’t forget to send in your reservations!
