As we enter into the last few weeks of school, it is important that students continue to get plenty of rest to finish out the school year strong.
In the classroom: In Religion, students are now reading their own Beginner Bibles and are excited read the wonderful stories they have heard tell about God and His glory. In Reading we continue to improve our reading and writing skills. Learning about nouns, proper nouns, adjectives and adverbs. In Math the students are learning how to write and count from 0-100, addition and subtraction. This week in Science we are having so much fun experimenting with forces and motion.

Science Fair: Students are working daily on their projects in the classroom. We are looking forward to Science Fair night May 1st.
Read-a-thon-Continue to login those reading minutes. Read-a-thon continues until April 22nd. We are really close to our classroom goal.
Zoo: Thank you for returning your child’s permission slips in and for those volunteering to be drivers. Next week I will send out more information on arrival time and departure. Student can wear jeans and comfortable shoes. We will wear our tie dyed t-shirts that we will make in class. Sack lunch must contain only disposable items and we will eat together at the zoo. Don’t forget to bring a lunch for yourselves.
