Newsletter April 25th

April 25, 2024

“April showers bring May flowers.” Thank you Lord for the rain.

A big shout out for all those who helped with the Read-a-thon! We made our kindergarten goal and we will be getting a new interactive board.

In the classroom: In Religion, students share their love for Jesus and continue to learn about His Heavenly kingdom. In Reading, students are becoming strong readers (they are even bringing chapter books from home to share and read during any free time they have in class). They are growing in their Language Art skills. In Math, students are learning how to count, write and come up with different ways to get to 100. In Science, we are learning about things that are alive and not alive.

Zoo: For all those attending the zoo field trip, please arrive no later than 8:45. We will depart at 9:00 am. Don’t forget a sack lunch for you and your child (All items must be disposable). Students can wear jeans and we will put on our t-shirts at school and make sure they wear comfortable shoes too.

Spring auction for class art: The bidding starts today for the class art projects. You can go to https://hope2024.ggo.bid and find kindergarten’s art piece and begin your bidding.

Show and Tell: Show and tell will begin next week on Wednesdays. Students may bring in something special to share with the class. Please, no live creatures, mom’s favorite jewelry, dad’s power tools etc… They can bring stuff toys, books, favorite toys.
