Worship
Hope Lutheran Church welcomes all age groups in worship. You are welcome at any time to join us. Our worship services follows one of the settings in Lutheran Service Book and are accompanied by hymns.
On most Sunday’s of the month we celebrate The Lord’s Supper. Our church practices closed communion, we ask that those desiring to commune with us please talk to a pastor beforehand. On non-communion Sundays a children’s message is offered.
On the 5th Sunday of the month we all gather together for a single worship service at 10 a.m. with a potluck following worship around 11:30 a.m. Bible class and Sunday school are held at 9 a.m. on those Sundays.
Are children welcomed in worship?
Yes, children are always welcome in worship. One of the ways children best learn about faith is by seeing their parents, siblings, and grandparents attend worship. It may seem as though they aren’t paying attention at times, but they do pick up on parts of the service. Even the youngest children will soon be able to recite the Lord’s Prayer and sing the common elements in the liturgy with regular worship attendance.
